    People are talking about automation when I'm more interested in the possible eventual replacement of the human as the most advanced sentient being in the universe (at least on Earth) by ultra advanced AI.     I am running an R9 280X from Diamond. Now the performance difference between the 280X and the 480 is substantial, but for me, the ability to use Freesync is what keeps me up at night, wanting for an upgrade.

    Disgusting. Here I am crying whenever my modest rig can't push 60 fps. 60 fps is more enjoyable to me. And I wish I could try a 120/144Hz monitor, but I have none available. Whatever makes your experience better man.

    I can confirm that with a Pentium G3258 (4.3GHz) and a r9 280 (1100MHz, stock VRAM) I can run GTA V at constant 30 fps @ 1080p. Must set vsync at half for best experience. Without vsync at half, texture pop-ins may occur. Keep in mind that fps will go higher though, around 45-55, with the occasional 60+. All other settings are on max, except everything on advanced graphics, both msaa (normal and reflection), and depth of field (so strong in this game). SSDs work wonders with this game.
