  1. That is something new to me, just enabled it myself and Get-TPM is telling me good things. Thanks for the information.
  2. So TPM 2.0 is now a requirement? Thats great for all the laptops and OEM's but not a single "gAmEr" motherboard comes with a TPM preinstalled... They all have headers sure, but a majority of users will not understand they need to go out and buy the module and install it to their boards. Infact I'm not 100% your standard Dell consumer device has a TPM I know their business line workstations/laptop do I work with them everyday. ( just checked they don't) So EVERY Inspiron laptop will in theory not work with Windows 11. I'm betting that's all OEM consumer laptops. And these laptops won't and don't have easy upgradable headers to tack on a TPM.
  3. Also any Meraki users/businesses please use the drop down "help" menu to see the impact on your devices/network.
  4. Can confirm, my Meraki AP and all of them at work mitigated this awhile back. Meraki Portal is now making customers aware. Please disable 802.11r if you haven't already.
  5. SECOND! Benchmark: Time Spy CPU: i7 6700k @ 4.50 Ghz GPU: R9 FuryX 2-way CF GPU Core: 1050 MHz GPU Memory: 545 MHz Score: 8487 3DMark Link: http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/13196587
  6. @LinusTech How did you like those LG monitor's? I've been dribbling over them.
  7. Is it bollocks a FuryX2...
  8. FuryX CrossfireX, despite the Intel HD displayed. Ran with "-multigpu" only saw about 68% per GPU. Both cards are at stock core speed, and 540Mhz HBM.
  9. Nvidia did it first, sad to see AMD be a daft and messing up this badly. http://www.zdnet.com/article/warning-nvidia-196-75-drivers-can-kill-your-graphics-card/
  10. Explains why my cards were throttling good job I monitor this shit with my G19, reinstalled the driver and checked fans all seems well now. Also forcing a profile through AB just incase. Warned a bunch of my friends too. Nvidia has done this before, but that doesn't excuse AMD doing the same. Shame on you AMD, I hope to see anyone with a burnt out card replaced.
  11. PBR looks great on the aircraft, but terrain looks shitteeee not. Popping is worse and trees look grey until you're about 1KM from, they suddenly render correctly. Loads of issues with aircraft jerking around at range. Users losing around 25% fps across the board, users who would normally happily get 60fps on the movie preset are now into the 40's. For what can be described as a marginal upgrade in general and worse is some areas. Overall its been a mixed bag. As far as ground forces performance has been noticeably worse, destruction Physics are murdering frame rates and users are generally unhappy with the changes.
  12. Depends on the title really, some games are silky smooth. For example GTAV is smoooooth as it comes, were as the witcher3 has room for improvement.
  13. More frame pacing improvements are always welcome, things are damn smooth on my dual FuryX's but the only way is up when it comes to frame times and smoothness.
  14. Check power settings in control panel, its needs to be set to "high performance" when gaming. And some notebooks don't supply the GPU with enough power while on battery so there is that.
  15. Unfortunately Cortana has been useless for me, she just doesn't understand half of what I say, But i'm hoping she'll learn in time. Thanks for the link.
  16. Used it a lot, when I was lay back in my chair and couldn't be bothered to lean forward to use my keyboard. Nice feature, hope it turns in an extension.
  17. After reviewing benchmarks of the 4G 960 and 4G 380. What an utterly pointless card the 960 is! Both have exact same pricing for both the 2G and 4G versions. Buying a 960 now can only be done because of brand loyalty... or no research done. I suppose if you've got a thing for PhysX but even then its daft...
  18. Might as well include this if you're just going to cherry pick. They're going through the wrong channels.
  19. If its full tonga you could call it a rebrand of the m295x but that card can only be found in the iMac5k.
  20. The shit posting is real, honestly in a perfect world if you've confessed a bias towards a company you shouldn't be posting threads about them. UK prices haven't changed much since launch. http://www.scan.co.uk/shop/computer-hardware/all/gpu-amd/radeon-r9-fury-x-pci-e https://www.overclockers.co.uk/productlist.php?catid=56&groupid=701&sortby=priceAsc&subid=3068 (they've gone up abit) http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Graphics+Cards/AMD+Radeon/Radeon+R9+FURY+X+ Amazon is always fucked for prices, mainly because people buy them and resell instantly.
  21. Yes and no, you're power limited, even if you push the power target to +50% you'd peak at 262watts but you would get the most clock for watt than the Fury or FuryX, but the power wall would also gimp your total clock.
  22. My first 290x also whined when I got it, but no longer does so there maybe alot of truth in that. How ever first impression is everything, people are alot less likely to give AMD a free pass over something like coil whine due to alot of negativity that surrounds them for past issues that have long since been addressed.
  23. Would appear to be aimed purely at the SFF market. Since its only competition in that space is the 970ITX and its own 380 ITX. Which puts as the most powerful SFF card we've seen to date, question is, is there enough money in the SFF space to warrant a card like this. I don't think its an overly smart move, had the price been lower maybe around the Fury it would be little more appealing to the general consumer but niche card for a niche market. Time will tell if there is a market for this card at its current price. As PCper put it, if you've got an ATX or mATX case this card isn't for you at all. Concerns are, is the coil whine going to be prevalent on lots of cards and will this appeal enough to SFF market at its current price.
  24. Seemed like a good review to me? He had some good things to say about the card but issues he had were coil whine and cost. Otherwise a positive review. I don't see any need for the "Oh dear!" But then I'm never surprised how you paint anything AMD does in a negative light, not that there perfect at all, but if you think that was a negative review than I don't know what you watched.
