What does that have to do with anything? I'm not talking about the ability to sell the GTX 780ti.
The GTX 780 was not a full GK110, we knew that since the release order went like this.
GTX Titan during the GTX 600 series. [2688/2880 Cuda Cores]
GTX 780 with the GTX 700 series [2304/2880 Cuda Cores]
GTX 780 Ti with the GTX 700 series, [2880/2880 Cuda Cores]
GTX Titan Black during the GTX 700 series. [2880/2880 Cuda Cores]
The GTX 980 is a full die,[2048/2048 Cuda Cores], there is no logical reason for them to magically find cores where there aren't any.
And there's no logical reason for them to call something that is a completely different architecture the GTX 980 Ti.

So if they release a better card it'll be based not on GM204 but on GK210, and it won't be a GTX 980 Ti but something like GTX (Behemoth/Titan II) for $1000, and then maybe we'll see a GTX 1080 and GTX 1080Ti based on GK210 on Maxwell refresh next year for a more attainable price.

970 is unlikely to drop because of a 980 Ti launch, the gap in price is already too large between the 970 and 980.
Or maybe Nvidia's tactic THIS TIME is to make a 970 Ti, so they can harvest even more tears.

All this aside, what I'm really hoping for is an ASUS GTX 970 MARS. Just the thought gives me spinal frequency modulation.

Everybody knows Nvidia is a Singapore based company, so they'd always have the lowest prices........oh wait they're an American company, and in America the prices are different.
    GTX 970 - $329.99
GTX 980 - $549.99 (seen it available at $500 multiple times already)

I am getting the keyboard in december, want to wait for all the reviews and see what competition brings and maybe some discount on k70 by then, who knows. Its 1st edition of RGB LEDs so wanna make sure the product I buy is not faulty or doesnt fail after month/two.
But after hearing your terrible experience I might go with amazon when time comes
@Badman5 I dont even know they are chaning the logo, can i have link or picture of "new logo" ?

Fair enough, no point risking it again. Can happen to anybody but as u say if they were a rude to customer then thats a big thing. I only ordered from them once and it was all ok so didnt have to deal with refunds etc.
    @Jerakl are u here to spam Mr.Sherlock ?!
I was obviously expecting the answer I got from omenz321 and not your general answer that I knew already myself and anybody reading his post....

A dollar a day will give you more than enough cash for some of these lengthy releases. I mean some products are talked about months and months in advance.

This was linked on the MechanicalKeyboards subreddit. http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=132223#3 Corsair employee confirms k70 and k95 with blue switches will be out by the end of the month.

This will be my first mech keyboard but from descriptions and YouTube guides to switch types, I'm going for brown. I think I'd like the tactile feel on my fingertips as keys register before bottoming out, but don't think I'll need the clicky sound of the blues. I may even put o rings under the keys available from a few suppliers for mech keyboards so I don't have to hear the key bottoming if I do press them all the way down.

Yea I'm getting one as soon as brown switches come out regardless of the bad reviews. This KB is cutting edge and I must have it. I always take reviews with a grain of salt, many of the problems will be fixed with firmware and software updates and I love the challange of tinkering and figuring out new things. As for bad reviews regarding actual hardware issues, don't seem to be as many and Corsair genuinely seems to want to make things right. I also wonder how many bad reviews were out of impatience in learning the software from people expecting easy plug and play, without taking time to learn how it works. As for the lights being bright enough or color diluting between keys, I dont need it super bright, just to be able to read my keys in low-light/no-light situations (I like to game in a darkened room); and from reading reviews it appears for some that the color dilution may be result of having keys assigned to more than one profile or zone casing two different colors to be assigned to sames keys simultaneously. Ex a key assigned to red in one zone and white in another overlapping zone causing both red and white to be triggered for the key simultaneously and resulting in pink. I'm hoping I don't eat my words though after I actually get mine lol

Quite frankly,if they had just made a mock-run of how their keyboards would be produced (100 or so) and had a concentrated group test for issues in the first place, there wouldn't be any major issues. But nooo~~...let's not do the smart thing... Let's try to get as much hype on this train and jump ship if it doesn't work.... I'm still willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, but corsair needs to step up their game. Otherwise they'll all go for ducky 3's and razer chroma's...oh wait, lots of people already are >>... Two words corsair.... CONTROL GROUPS! It's an experimental standard, you make one how you think it's supposed to turn out, and then have them how they actually turn out. And THEN you play around with the programming till it works like it's supposed to.

Oh dear Remember when corsair said this... 'There will be nothing more frustrating than to get a product you’ve been waiting almost a year for and it does not live up to the hype or expectations of customers like yourself.'

Good to see the 'extra' development time really paid off.

What is it with companies failing on promises to customers, this and the recent news about GTA 5 for the PC has really bummed me out... Maybe I'm expecting too much? I suppose the year I've been waiting + the amount of time these companies have had to develop their products before releasing promos about them isn't a long time? Really starting to loose faith and confidence in the PC industry especially with games and gaming peripherals Someone re-assure me.

Yeah I've seen that too. But that's most likely because they're the first and only one to have the keyboard atm. They usually charge a premium for that. At least I hope.

We won't know UK pricing until it's officially announced over here in the UK, I'm waiting for the K95 RGB but if it's substantially more expensive than the standard K95 *£160 is my limit i.e 265 USD*, Corsair can go suck a bag of dicks.

Why all the hostility towards people wanting this keyboard? We're all excited about it. It's no different than you looking forward to buying something new that you've wanted. Do I have a keyboard? Yes a Logitech GT510 that I'm looking to replace and I narrowed it down to this one or the Rocca MR Pro. Now I have confirmed that I want this one so get off our sack about us batching about it not being released yet as this is not the issue. We're upset that tentative or not the keyboard was to drop at the end of July. We understand there are delays we just want an update on the new tentative drop date and does this affect the blue and brown drop dates?
Lastly in regards to the switches. Corsair doesn't produce the switch Cherry does. The switch is already produced. Corsair is producing everything else which is what they are having issues with. Knowing how complex circuit mapping is one little discrepancy in production can essentially take out am entire run. Sometimes something created in a lab is more difficult to replicate on the production line.
While I'm happy they are fixing the problem instead of releasing a crap product I'm also disappointed about waiting.

For me personally, I don't really care when it's releases. But of course i'd like to get it sooner than later.

One thing that bothers me though, is that a couple of you on this thread keeps saying something like; "The fancy lighting is just crap and you are all idiots by buying it. It'll grow old in a month or two."
Will the fancy lighting, with ripples and all that good stuff, grow old on me in a couple of month? Probably. But for me it's more about the estetics of the keyboard.

    - First of all, I like the looks of K70 (which is the one i'm going to buy).
    - Second. The fact that I can light up different zones/keys of the keyboard with different colors, makes it a 'must have' for me, since i'm almost always gaming in complete darkness. It makes it easier to find the specific key i'm looking for in the dark. This functionality can, somewhat, be achieved by getting the Steelseries Apex, but i just don't like the looks, nor the layout of the board.
    - Third. Sometimes, not always, but sometimes i find myself wishing i had RGB-lighting, to go match up with the coloring of the desktop-background, things on my table, lighting in the chasis, or other stuff in my office.

Well.. The bottom line: For those of you who don't like the RGB-lighting, or light in keyboards at all, fine by me. But stay out of my head.
