  1. Just bumping to say still no reply from Dbrand
  2. Dbrand, Dip in quality/ (effort)? in recent years. My current issue: I recently receive my grip case for myy Galaxy Fold 5. And it has been a dissapointing and not great experience. I logged my support ticket with Dbrand 7 days ago, with no acknowledgment or reply. which is pretty unnacceptable on it's own. Onto the problem: The case is basically unusable on the front screen! The raised lip arounbd the edge of the screen is so high, you can't swipe, tape or hold effectively on any edge of the screen, it's like the product was never tested by someone who uses the device! I used to use the gesture and swipe navigation, I prefer this. I've now had to swap back over to button navigation becasue of how utterly unusable the gestures are on the front. I also can't use the edge panel at all, and can't swipe down on notifications anywhere apart of the camera, as a result the front selfie cam always has finger residue on the lense now. I've sent videos to Dbrand illustating these issues. but, it honestly doesnt seem like this case was tested at all. The other issue I find myself having is: what happened to the sides and front stickers for devices?!, even if it's only provided with a case? You literally just get the back sticker. I was really surprised, I thought I was missing parts in my package, but no, all you get now is the back sticker. It's really dissapointing, and honestly just removes any selling point for Dbrand stickers. I got a free carbon fibre pattern sticker included with a screen protector on Amazong, and the size, shape and cut is basically the same. I basically just want a full refund now, honestly, Dbrand is just a really bad product now from my experience. And the fact I've had 0 replies to my support ticket in 7 days is just hadding more salt to the wound. I'd appreciate some LMG help with this one.
  3. The vid is on FP. Probs will be on YouTube later
  4. Defo interested in this. Would be good to be a proper messenger bag, a bit bigger than a steam deck for versatility. Would be my go to carry bag if so!
  5. Did you manage to get the QuickMiner working? My lil bro is running 2 980s, he wants to start getting into it, so it'd be good to know if this works.
  6. Any screenshots or error codes? I just connected mine up and it seems to work fine.
  7. Okay awesome. You've actually made me rethink my strategy. My current build is an i74790k and 16gb ram. I'm upgrading to ryzen soon anyways so I'm thinking I'll use this CPU and RAM with an ITX mobo, the node 304 and an HDD from somewhere. What do you think?
  8. Hey thanks for the reply. Thanks for the node 304 suggestion, I quite like the look of the case, it certainly has the capacity, though theres no backplane? Which I know isnt a must have but rather a nice to have from my understanding. Shucking the drives is another great suggestion and I'll defo consider that instead of reds. Currently I have RAID 1 on my buffalonas, I'd imagine I'll have something similar (hence 2 drives), there's nothing important on the NAS, anything important is backed up both to google drive and my pc HDDs.
  9. Budget (including currency): £550 Country: United Kingdom Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: NAS Other details: able to somewhat stream 4k So, I'm trying to build a NAS. Currently I've got a buffalonas for media streaming and some backups. Due to lockdown my family and friends have been streaming from my server more often, so i need to upgrade. I was going to buy an Asustor nimbuster (linked), but wondered about building my own. I need the case to be ITX form factor for wife approval as it'll just replace the current one thats on a bookshelf. I'll link everything and include a poll. If anyone has better suggestions for a case, please feel free to let me know. These are the only 2 I found that can be upgraded to up to 4 drives and that fit the formfactor. Also I'm a bit new to building a NAS so do I need to GPU for better transcoding? I dont have many 4k files, but there's one or 2. It's mainly 720 or 1080p videos. Additionally, in terms of software whats the best route for allowing people to stream remotely, (other side of the planet in a couple of cases)? Is plex able to facilitate a username/ password like my buffalonas is? Thanks for the help in advance! NAS build 1 : https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/Vv7czN NAS build 2: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/cgxDV7 (case includes a 265 flex PSU) Asustor Nimbuster: Asustor NAS + 2 4TB ironwolf NAS drives
  10. I currently have the Razer phone 1. I got used my first paycheck to buy it and was pretty happy with it being my first flagship phone. However its been a couple of years now and after a month or 2 of having the phone I quickly realised I was a glorified beta tester for the phone. I'm in the market for a new phone now. I liked the Razer phones specs (I come from the prestigious HTC one users), I like the speakers, the display, the fast charging and the selfie camera isn't bad (back camera even with the google camera API is atrocious). Also the performance is awesome. However its now clear that Razer aren't committed to updated this phone to pie or supporting it anymore with regular updates past security ones. What I'd love is a round up of all the gaming phones currently on the market vs their non- gaming counterparts. At the end of the day the question I'd love answered is this: Is it worth getting a gaming phone. Spec wise I don't see any difference between gaming phones and non gaming specific ones except better cooling and faster displays. Is it worth this in the long run? Essentially should I get the oneplus 7 pro or like any random gaming phone that beasts specs in terms of battery, RAM and display?
  11. I have KLEVV genuine 2x 8GB (16GB) ram. I'm thinking of upgrading to 32GB but I'm having trouble identifying what will be compatible/ most compatible in terms of latency etc. full specs are: Latency: 11-13-13-31-0 (11) Speed: DDR3 2400mhz Voltage: 1.65V Thanks in advance
  12. I currently have 2 gtx 980s in sli with a 1080p 144hz monitor (I play comp games like BF, destiny and the occasional CS etc, as well as pretty much every game) I wanted to upgrade to 1440p 144hz, but I kind of feel like I've missed the train on this though, I might as well skip this, SO I want to jump to 4k 144hz, any recommendations on a setup able to run this? 2080ti in SLI (NVLINK) seems to be my best option, but should I wait to see AMD offerings? or what about a titan? (they're not really for gaming though). Let me know your ideas
  13. that sounds like power delivery then. Make sure your graphics card cables are properly inserted. This has happened to me before. Also check the power supply side of the cables
  14. Have a play around with the opening commands. Some games are unstable when opened in full screen for the first time. Try starting GTA V in windowed mode to begin with
  15. I've had this before you have a program thats turning on the pc and preventing it from shutting down. Go to the event log and check what programs have the ability to do this or turn the feature off altogether. just type event into search and it should come up with event logger.
