  1. Past hour
  2. I can only find a gtx1650 for 139 pounds
  3. If you're willing to spend the money (or buy used), Axis PoE cameras won't go cloud-only any time soon.
  4. Yeah it's a good idea to upgrade ram to 32GB, if you see that it's not enough in some games, games hogwards legacy can use way more than that
  5. That's not how it works. Like, actually not how it works, at all. You might think it is how it should work, but that doesn't mean it works that way. When you subscribe to for example Netflix, you are only allowed access to the library for the country you reside in. Using a VPN to trick Netflix into thinking you are in a different country is against the terms of service, as well as the contracts signed with Netflix and the content providers. You are breaking the terms of service if you use a VPN, and you are potentially committing an act of piracy as well since you are using techniques to circumvent DRM protection. You are accessing material you did not rightfully pay for. You paid for the content library that is available in the country you are physically located in, not the content library for a country you are pretending to be in. I know it sucks that it works this way, but just because we disagree with the contracts doesn't mean we are free to break them. Think of digital goods as being shipped into the country. There is a substance very similar to Zyklon B that you can buy in certain countries. Just because it is legal to buy in those countries doesn't mean you can just buy it online and have it shipped to your country (presumably the US) and go "well I paid for it so you can't say I can't have it".
  6. I think that's what you might think being familiar with LTT but there is no evidence to support this. IMO the vast majority of people looking to buy a backpack at a big box store will have no idea what or who LTT is.
  7. If it's a one off, I wouldn't dig into things honestly. Only if it becomes a frequent problem. Many things can cause Windows to halt itself but that doesn't mean anything is broken. You could've had an unlucky bit flip in RAM, and that could be enough. Has this happened more than once?
  8. thanks so much ill get but cant find any 1070s for 150 what psu should i get instead
  9. probably RAM or storage. Thanks!
  10. Another studio under Private Division, Roll7, has been shut down. Seems kind of obvious that Take Two set up Private Division just to grab some indie developers as a quick cash grab, just to "restructure" them out of existence. KSP2 is still for sale at full price, with the roadmap still up with only 2 sections complete, with 70 developers laid off those remaining sections are going to take a while to get done. This quote from Take Two is such a fancy way of saying we want more cash: "On April 16th, Take-Two announced a cost reduction program to identify efficiencies across its business and to enhance the Company's margin profile, while still investing for growth. As part of these efforts, the Company is rationalizing its pipeline and eliminating several projects in development and streamlining its organizational structure, which will eliminate headcount and reduce future hiring needs. The Company is not providing additional details on this program."
  11. Here's a pretty good vid looking at current performance of the 6500xt like, it's not that bad but you could do so much better for the money
  12. The way I understand it, you have way more writes than the old one but a slightly lower wearout, so it checks out. Writes are what wears out a drive the most.
  13. I own it and its massive, not even close to an ITX case. All board sizes are supported. That being said the LANCOOL series and their included fans are a better fit for a beginner.
  14. An electronic/PC parts shop without a website? I haven't seen these for years. and how do I do that? I want a list of SSD models with capasities, and proices, that they have, there's no other way. If I know what they have, I can tell you what's good for the price they have it listed.
  15. Microsoft Flight Simulator and Forza Horizon 5 on Ultra? On a 6500XT and 12100f? Depending on your resolution you're not going to even get 30FPS. Fortnite in performance mode at medium/high settings or even ultra should be fine. I'd definitely look into either saving up some more money for a better system. Or going the used route, check FB marketplace or local classifieds sometimes people get rid of some wicked systems for cheap. Maybe getting the 12100f and pairing it with a used 30 series RTX card like a 3070? What Calculator are you using for this? Most of these calculators are complete shams. Going off of YouTube videos of the specs you want playing these games which is actual performance compared to the generated stats of whatever website you are using, Cyberpunk is only getting an average of 40fps on low settings at 1080p. Ultra, there's no way that calculator is right. With your budget and wants, maybe getting an XBOX Series X may be more within your grasp.
  16. So they have a trim of orange colors and suddenly it's LTT imitation? That's not what that is, that's them using colors is not copying LTT in the slightest. If they tried to put LTT logos and stuff on there that's a completely different story but it's a black bag with a bit of orange accents. The inside isn't even completely orange.
  17. I've seen quite a few clones. Even today I saw someone with a very similar looking backpack with orange inserts and a grey outside and a very similar layout outside. They want to get the sales that a backpack from LTT can for cheaper. Normally a lot cheaper. I can't speak on the quality of this one but the one I saw today looked quite cut down, some features missing and looked like a hard fabric
  18. It's getting warm in here now... Can't wait for a GPU project...
  19. Or better yet, for electrical isolation purposes, fiber!
  20. different capacities SSD have different TBW, so yes, the percentage will go different if they have different TBW.
  21. everything seems alright (you might want to double check the psu on the tierlist tho). The 6500xt tho is a definite no go. It really just isn't built for gaming and will not run those games you mentioned all that well. forza 5 needs at least a 470 for min spec which that barely beats. The 12100f is a really good decent starting point, especially if buying new but that gpu is to its detriment. Also just bad value. Should you stick with buying new, the 6600 is 50 usd more, may or may not be a lot of money (it definitely is for me) but it will actually give you a solid build and an enjoyable experience on all those titles. Alternatively, you can go used. For around 150 usd, you can get a 5700/1070/5600xt which aren't bad cards and should still be a great experience.
  22. You have manual here : https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_z790-aorus-pro-x-wifi7_1203_e.pdf The revision of your board is in bottom left corner. It should say a REV: something rename the bios as simple as possible ex bios.bin or bios.f4 or something like that.
  23. Did you watch the video? Serious question did you watch it? "x86 needs to die" is the title of article they read, the conclusion and the WHOLE video talks about how much the article misunderstands architectures and x86, and that x86 does not in fact need to die. Its a very good discussion and a solid video. You should watch the video that you posted. You should watch it when you get the chance to. They go over those topics.
