  2. There are better mice out there, though that doesn't mean the G502 is a bad mouse and there are folks like me who swear by it. The main issue with it is that it's very heavy by modern gaming mouse standards, and most people nowadays are trending towards lighter and lighter mice, and you can get some pretty light mice nowadays. The first example to come to mind is the Logitech G305 Lightspeed (G304 in some regions), especially with a AAA conversion, as it's a very light combo that's wireless with a good sensor and very cheap, though there's a dozen other options that work as well. As with any peripheral, a lot of it is personal preference. Just because one person online loves a heavy mouse doesn't mean you will, and just because the majority of people nowadays like superlight mice doesn't mean you will either. My advice is usually to head to somewhere like a Best Buy or Micro Center where they have a few of these mice on display, so you can try a few out and see what you find comfortable. Most mice over ~$40 have a perfect sensor on them, so you mostly need to worry about how comfortable the mouse is.

Since I still haven't figured out how to talk m…

Was it a wiring issue? I once replaced a blower fan in a network switch, and while the fan I bought was standard, both fan and header inside the switch had an alternative, non-standard wire order (the pwm line was swapped with either the tachometer or the ground cable, can't remember). I ended up cutting and re-soldering the wires on the new fan to conform to the heretic layout of the switch.
  5. That, and also AMD drivers are just better on Linux. If you're on AMD, I wouuld definitely give Linux a shot.
  6. I have a Gunnir Intel Arc A750 GPU and usually the idle temperature of the GPU is 54°C. And fans of the GPU don't spin before it hits 55°C. That is little uncomfortable to see the idle temperature is 54°C. Is it normal or do I have to worry about it? P.S. But the gaming temperature is looking kind of okay. It stays around 66°C-70°C while gaming when 6GB of VRam is in use and 100% of the GPU is utilized. Now the question remains, "is there anything abnormal? If so then how to fix it?"

Highest boosts I've seen are 5.925GHz on CCD1, CCD0 is capped at 52.5x. I'll be diving deeper into my setup, one thing I haven't checked is the per core temps to see if I happen to have bad contact with the kyrosheet on one of the CCDs. I have 2g of TG liquid metal on the way to try that out and compare.

  9. To be honest, I expected this to happen. From what I remember, this is what Microsoft does: buy the developer of a big name franchise so that it can claim xbox has an awesome new exclusive, awesome new exclusive doesn't meet expectations, Microsoft shuts down studio so they can buy another big name tdeveloper and claim they have a big new exclusive. Someone list everytime they've done this in the past. It's more than twice I'm pretty sure.
  10. Just like any other HERO sensored mouse, it works just fine in video games.
  11. Hello, will the g503 hero still perform well in games in 2024? Or is there a better mouse for a similar price (if there is a better one, please, it's not very difficult to find). Thank you edit : I don't have much budget on peripherals, I'm spending almost everything I have on the PC
  12. You can install Windows 11 too, using some workarounds, which I will say are pretty easy to perform even for an inexperienced user. You also have the option to install Linux, especially distros like Ubuntu / Debian / Mint are really easy to use and install nowadays and realistically you will be able to play most games (those with no anti-cheat) with them too, if that is your usecase.
  13. OP has already answered that: having to apply a sticker by yourself vs. not having to do anything to obtain the final result. Whether the seller was misleading people or not into believing it was one or the other, it's something I haven't looked in detail to form an opinion. Still, reiterating questions with obvious, already provided answers is a waste of time in any case.

Here is it, didn't tweak voltages HWInfo while running CBR23 :
  15. They just need to add two words to their marketing wank. "Hydro-dip inspired print" And all would be well, fairly small simple adjustment and it satisfies everyone. It clarifies that it's a print of a hydro-dip. A friend of mine got a Dbrand case for his phone that was marketed and shown to be a 3D effect of some kind with some prismatic look to it. IRL it was a flat sticker with some shiny bits, one of the obsidian ones. He was mildly upset about it. I would have been too. https://www.reddit.com/r/dbrand/comments/zqh81b/am_i_the_only_one_disappointed_by_the_damascus/

  17. Weirdly I can still not find an option to change the control scheme. Neither here: Nor in the curve editor:
  18. Yep, i have connected a TV box and a Playstation to it and i've tried them both to that port as well as trying the RX580 in any of the other ports. Only when i connect the pc using the RX580 it does that (the Nvidia works fine). And i think i have made some progress : i moved to computer to another room and reinstalled the drivers (DFU and all), completed all setup and then took it back to the den. Upon boot, it displayed the same garbage instead of the POST screen, but 10 seconds later, it initialized OK and went into windows just fine. So i'm starting to think it might be related to the dual panel setup of the 3D tv...!?
  19. My older laptop had a "DDR3L" slot. I think that means LPDDR3 RAM it was?
  20. The Arkane Austin management were splitted after Romuald Capron left Arkane Lyon after Deathloop was released. Director of Arx Fatalis, Dark Messiah, Dishonored and Prey, Raphaël Colantonio, left Arkane already in 2017, in 2019 he formed WolfEye Studios which made Weird West which was released in 2022 through Devolver. Generally from the team that made Prey only 30% remained within Arkane when Redfall was released, we can a bit talk about the ship of Theseus.
  21. 150 Mbps to 180mbps normally 40 mbps when dipping Router room 400-500mbps Old house thick concrete walls built in 18 something. BT WiFi extenders throughout the house providing rooms with over 120mbps but not really exceeding 200mbps Did a factory reset of all network devices less than 3 months ago. I moved the 2.4ghz and 5ghz band to a channel with minimal interference where possible. Thats the info I can think off the top of my head but if you want me to conduct any tests or find out something please let me know. Thank you very much I really appreciate this as my brother works from home so I make sure he has a solid Internet connection.

  23. I've been to several UPS stores/offices and none of the boxes were just laying around. Perhaps someone saw the UPS note on his door and used the info to go retrieve it.
