AMD Ryzen 3000 rumours are Adored

So I would like a free Zelda themed switch, thanks. 5 days till the announcement, not even worth arguing real or not, more like adored using the last few days to get some additional views.
  5. 6 years so yeah might be that its gone bad

    Cpu wont overclock

Yes, but I have no idea how you can set the ratio manually, and have the CPU reach turbo speeds at the same time, Turbo manages the cores automatically according to how many cores are being used Usually when you set the ratio you disable the turbo functionality and have all cores running the same speed, maybe there's a way to have both, so check in BIOS to disable or enable some settings and experiment Also the CPU wouldn't clock to 42 when all cores are active, only when there's one active

Best Place To Live if money didnt matter

I'd probably just live in my own country, but if I had the money to spare, then I'd travel around the world.
  8. see no reason why not. but your mileage will vary

AMD Ryzen 3000 rumours are Adored

LOL what 32 core. THen wtf ThreadRipper is dead ? Still rumor but I think a Ryzen will first come as 8 core followed by 12 core possibly as that is still rumor. Then in August the ThreadRipper will come in forms of 16c up to 32c and a special EPYC chip at 64 cores lol wowzers. Talk about future proof.

    NEW PSU Tier List

and as you've seen in real life too but yeah, two different minds i guess, it's at least leagues better than that seasonic that should've been out of sales 5 years ago, or cost <30 bucks
  12. “I found someone else who said they’re Asian on the phone.” *sublets to same white guy that was denied* ”oh... must’ve been his dad calling from a different phone.”
  13. So oyu dont think its the GPU?

Safe trying new GPU with potentially bad PSU?

It can be the PSU or the mobo and nothing else that comes to mind.

AMD Ryzen 3000 rumours are Adored

TR is a part of Ryzen. My 1950x's box says, "Ryzen Thredripper" and it's 16 core. And, it's pretty close to 500 new.

  19. There's a lot of comment on how current Huawei phones will work after the ban. There's a general perception that current Huawei phones won't be affected aside from future updates. However I can a cross this YouTube which explains that Huawei is in bigger trouble than generally thought? I do see his nterpretation, ie. Huawei have the choice of 1. Don't update any of the current phones, 2. Or Huawei updates the version of the phones and risks losing all Google services??? If that is true then its really a much bigger deal. https://youtu.be/BFfQlgQBLGI Any argument against this guy's interpretation is welcome. Ofc barring a U-turn from Trump administration.
  20. Dang nice post Minibois. So scientific and technical, I like it. You pown my friend. Everything you said is correct. Ya as for Ryzen 3000, aren't we all waiting for that lol. I think it will beat the 9900k in rendering compared to a Ryzen 12 core rumor.
  21. Hi all, I just purchased an LG 27UD58-B (an older monitor that I found for pretty cheap) and I'm pushing 4k @60Hz through my Lenovo Yoga 920-13IKB. No dedicated GPU on this laptop, only Intel UHD 620 integrated. To the point though, I'm getting a very weird refresh rate issue...I noticed while watching an LTT video that it seems to get slightly choppy in waves, so I ran a few tests and found that my refresh rate is dipping to 48Hz and then going back to 60Hz every 2-3 seconds, and repeating that wave pretty consistently. I've never run into anything like this before. My first thought is that it must be the HDMI adapter I'm using (BlackWeb USB-C to HDMI, rated for up to 4k @60Hz) but before I went out to buy another one I'm curious if anyone else has run into an issue similar to this with different results. My UHD 620 drivers are up-to-date, and so are any other drivers that might affect this...do I need to go and buy a new adapter? Was buying one that was only $20 a mistake? Thanks in advance!
  22. Shouldn't the blame lie with Instagram for making this information available to them and not vetting them for handling the data properly. As the host platform shouldnt they manage and maintain the partners they work with and let handle their data.
  23. Well Vega have some reputation over PSU so maybe dont risk anything and buy a good PSU.

why is this laptop so slow? is the specs crap?

You might want to look into the ram. Not that it's going to give you a better experience, but it seems a bit much for windows to reserve 1 GB for hardware. I had a problem like this too. Currently I'm at 300MB. Now again, it isn't going to make your pc faster, but incase you want to continue using it, you might want to look into it.
