Firstly, I would like to point out that this is not my only blog. I have another on wordpress however I keep that as more of a diary of thoughts and life stuff. If you wish to get to know how I think you can try to find it (but reall

Hey guys,
So in the past couple of days I have ordered two things, a mechanical keyboard and the Gigabyte R9 290 Windforce OC edition. I don't have pics because I am trying to blog from my phone and my desk is in use at the moment by someone else.
The first game I played while using the Corsair Vengeance K70 was Counter-Strike: Source and the Cherry MX Browns did not disappoint. Really responsive and produced a rather wonderful sound, I don't know how to use the USB ports at the back or the we

I am thinking of starting a web development business but don't know where to start and there aren't many tutorials which doesn't help. I guess I am going it alone. I know everything about making websites just not how to promote my business or how to sell them.
Wish me Luck.

So I have been thinking for a while, my A10-7850k is starting to struggle with my needs. It is OC'd to 4.4ghz, but didn't seem to help gain more performance for my tasks. I miss my i7-4690x something terrible, that thing with 6 cores could render my creations in blender, run all 25+ programs that i'd have open at one, and 200+ tabs in chrome(with 32GB of ram). At my new house my room is a bit smaller, so I thought of just having my PC on my bookshelf, with a HDMI cord or what ever going to my P

Hi guys!
I built my system in early January after Christmas and at the beginning of the year everything worked better than imagined! However, since then, the performance of the GPU has dropped, a lot. Yes I am a gamer, so I showed the performance through Battlefield 4. At the beginning of the year I was getting 100FPS on Ultra everything, it's now August and I'm getting a low 15-20FPS on Ultra everything. This is an R9 270X Gigabyte windforce so I'm sure this isn't normal. I've done no overcloc

So, day-to-day, what am I running in my back pocket. Hmmm... Well, as I mentioned, I have a crawl space where all my networking comes into the house. In here I have a few of the "no touch needed" systems. These include an older HP AMD server, ML110 G6 model I think. I have on that a voice solution running for various things. Also in here is the main unRaid server. Beside that I have an HP ML330 G6 system running Server 2012 R2. This is my main test platform and I use Hyper-V extensively on it. I

Today I will tell the story of how I became involved the computing world. It started all the way back in 1993. I was just a young lad, only 12 at the time. My family bought a computer, a custom build brick with all the AT fixings (you know how those things looked). This became my world, and I was absorbed in the mesmerizing glare of an 800x600 resolution monitor. DOS was a mysterious lady with which I tangled with, often lost, but always learned something new with each encounter. Windows 3.1 was
