Hi guys!

I built my system in early January after Christmas and at the beginning of the year everything worked better than imagined! However, since then, the performance of the GPU has dropped, a lot. Yes I am a gamer, so I showed the performance through Battlefield 4. At the beginning of the year I was getting 100FPS on Ultra everything, it's now August and I'm getting a low 15-20FPS on Ultra everything. This is an R9 270X Gigabyte windforce so I'm sure this isn't normal. I've done no overclocking to any of my parts, though I have fiddled with my GPU settings a little bit just to see what affect things have, but this can't be the issue as I've restored my PC in an attempt to refresh the problem (and restoring it did nothing).

Please help! I would like to be able to raise my performance again after I come back from vacation! I'll be grateful for any advice I get

Thank you for all your help!

The best place to post this is on the Forum section, not the Blogs area. Probably in the Trouble shooting section.

Check for any issues with your card's fans. One of them might be faluty. If all fans are OK, then go ahead and clean your PC because PCs tend to collect dust.
