Computer Upgrade suggestions (help)

Hey guys,

first i have to say that i'm german please forgive my misspelling.

So, i want to upgrade my Computer with a new CPU and Mainboard becuause my setup isn't that good as i'd like to have it ;).

My setup:

  • CPU = AMD FX 6100 Six-Core
  • RAM = 8 GB Kingston
  • GPU = NVIDIA GeForce 760
  • MB = Asrock 970 Extreme 4
  • PSU = Thermaltake Berlin 630 W

I'd like to change the CPU to a cheap i5 with liquid cooling, which I can use to play BF4 easly on high or without any problem's on Medium. A Motherboard with whom i can use later a i7 Core would be great.

I hope u understood this and you can give me tipp's for my plan's. ^_^

if you want it to last a long time I would personally suggest a TUF series on the z97 platform with a 4790k processor. I love my TUF series and it has remained stable for over three years now with no issues

I recommend the gigibyte z97 black edition and a 4690k

I'd like to use a Intel i5x xxxx/i7x xxxx which isn't expensive couse i only got 350€-400€ (449,96$-514,24$)
