First day writing about my newest (and most expensive) (and first) project: operation badger. Let's not make it the last one.

So after changing my idea for like the 100th time, I had an idea, and the beginning and relative end of a story spanning 100s of millennia. The basic plot for this game is you're a U.S. army soldier that has been assigned to help fight alien invaders in the year 2036 (There's more backstory, but I don't feel like typing it all out right now). The gameplay will be very DOOM-like, except for one thing; a portal system that can also harm any enemies that walk into it. Anyways, all I've done so far
I am officially keeping the format of the latest post until further notice, or there is over 50% of voters vote for a different format (Vote on this post). I find this format to highlight the top stories and the ones that aren't as important can have smaller headlines, look nice, and is flexible.

Today, I started working on my first indie game that I actually have a plan to publish on Steam, and boy it couldn’t have been a worse time to start.
