  1. I gave an opinion on this on Twitter but ads in game worlds that mirror where you'd expect ads in real-life might not be too bad. Burnout Paradise did this really well - I remember driving by the "BETTER LATE THAN NEVER" billboards advertising Burger King and I really enjoyed that little touch that made Paradise City feel more like a real place. I also enjoyed the AMD SFF PCs you saw in Deus Ex Mankind Divided. Discreet, easy to miss, and made you go "oh hey, lol" when you saw them instead of being annoyed. What won't go over well is basically any kind of ad that feels pushed in your face instead of feeling like a world-building (for lack of a better word) easter egg. If people have to watch ads just to get to the next map or level, the backlash will be enormous. And of course this is EA we're talking about so the chances they'll massively screw this up are not insignificant.
  2. Honestly, I really just enjoy the fact that a game with "Soviet Republic" in the title is now the center of a court battle regarding private property rights.
  3. Linus said you moved back to NC in Justine's video. Missed NC? Family stuff? Linus drove you crazy? LOL

  4. Might want to check out gog.com - they have lots of older games that have been re-tooled to run on modern systems. There's a sale going on there now, and it looks like they have the specific series you mentioned, too.
  5. There are so many I haven't tried. Can't go wrong with a nice Gouda, Muenster, or Grana Padano. And of course Pepper Jack is amazing on a burger.
  6. SUPREME EXECUTIVE AUTHORITY IS DERIVED FROM A MANDATE FROM THE MASSES, NOT SOME FARCICAL AQUATIC CEREMONY
  7. Use caution when yo-yoing. If you yo-yo it too hard, it'll leak into your protected memory space
  8. Quite the soccer program you have there. Also, it took me a very long time to realize your mascot is a kangaroo.
  9. I was born in south Alabama very close to Dothan. And Duke has played Troy several times over the last few years. Of course, I have a bit of a soft spot for Auburn because of a guy named Cam Newton.
  10. Hey, the Bison! Quite a football team you have up there in Fargo. Of course, we know a thing or two about winning titles at Duke as well. I graduated Duke with a degree in biology, with a concentration in cell and molecular. Minored in chemistry and political science.
  11. V6. I don't find myself missing the extra power too much, except maybe when I'm merging onto a highway and could use a bit of an extra push
  12. Truth. They just looked like boxes on wheels.
  13. Yup, that's my car. The only one I've ever owned, actually. Got it back in 2003. Would you believe it doesn't have 100K miles on it yet? I've been through so, so much in that car, from North Carolina to Florida to Chicago to Indianapolis to New York to Buffalo to Boston to Vegas to Vancouver. I think what I miss the most are the nighttime drives between Rowan County, NC and Durham, NC up and down I-85 back when I was in college with the radio turned up. She needs a little suspension and body work, but other than that she's in good shape. Gas mileage leaves a bit to be desired, but what can I say? It isn't a Prius. The bigger problem is honestly the gouge-level gas prices here in Canada.
  14. LOL! My wife actually had a bunch of Linus faces as her background not too long ago. Here's what I've got going on at work. I was lucky enough to be at this game and trophy presentation. I even have some of the confetti!
