How unlucky are you with Tech?

Just curious as to if anyone's unluckier than me. My Naga epic doesn't work in wired mode, my R9 290 came doa and I had to get a new one. I won a Beats pill from my wisdom teeth place and it doesn't hold a charge, my laptop came with a dead pixel, my motherboards ethernet just stopped working today.

I'm very lucky with tech, mostly because I'm always upgrading, and only use new stuff.

I feel like that'd raise your odds though since most of my stuffs doa. I could use your old parts since my motherboard can't even connect to the internet anymore

graphics card has blew up, i had a monitor lines of dead pixels, 2 months later still haven't received a new one..... all in one year

I bought a new Canon 50mm f1.8 II cos I needed one, seeing as how Canon has not released a new version in like 18 years or so.  The very next day Canon announces their new 50mm f1.8 with a metal mount, an upgraded focusing and silent motor as well as reworkings of the lens coatings.

no one has worse luck then my brother, he had to give a presentation in front of many doctors because of a medicine he was developing(some sort of wide spectrum anti-biotic) and his fucking laptop caught on fire during the presentation. No i dont mean erupting into flames but black smoke came pouring out of the vents. My mother and I were shitting ourselves but luckily my brother remembered most of his presentation

My laptop stopped charging (on my birthday this year) I took it in on the Friday, and it came back 1 month latter with no screws holding the device together and a broken trackpad. I sent it back for a second time, they took another 3 weeks, they broke the trackpad again (and according to the report, the motherboard too) and I sent it back again, finally another 3 weeks go by and the laptop arrives working in one piece. Those asshole don't know how to treat a $1,478 laptop.

 

Do NOT get "Productcare" extended warranties (or any extended warranties)

Pretty lucky, only issue I really encountered was my H100i's pump not working so the CPU was idling at like 90 degrees. RMA fixed it though.

 My very first motherboard was doa. I learned my monitor wouldn't support my apu through vga and the hdmi port is faulty so I bought an HD7850 which does work through vga but arrived with a broken fan. I've lost all my personal data 5 times due to hdd failures. First pair of heaphones I ever bought broke within 2 weeks. My current headphones developed a fault somewhere in the cable after a couple months of use. My power supply exploded.
I'd say I have a decent amount of bad luck, but I don't like to focus on the bad so I just move on.
