380x and 380 price difference

Is it worthy to get R9 380x instead of 380 at the price difference of $25?

If it is.. Until how much price difference will it be worth it?

Im still observing the market in our country. Prices of 380 may still drop.

get a used HD7950 or 280, Just as good.

Eh... It's pretty much right on the line between "not worth 25 USD" and "worth 25 USD".

get a used HD7950 or 280, Just as good.

R9 380 is 10% faster and a 380X is 20% faster...

Not so much... A 290 is more comparable.

IMO, it's worth it. But to some people, every penny counts.

280 is slightly worse than a 380(285) not to mention a 380X

If it's 10% performance then indeed it's somehow worthy. But I think going beyond $25 difference it wouldnt be.

Thanks for this info. I'll try to observe the market for few more days and check if the price of 380 will drop. If not I'll get 380x.

in the uk it's a £10 difference; but i'm curious when amazon.uk and dabs will start supplying it since only scan sells it atm and shipping is £11.
