Nvidia shield tablet still worth it?

I'm thinking about buying the Nvidia shield tablet from friend unopened, dirt cheap.

It's the 32 GB LTE with all the accessories. Is it still something that's worth it a year later or is i becoming outdated?

it's still a great tablet imo

bit pissed they have released a cheaper metal one
