The Problem is just that your top card is starved for air, you can improve your temps by:

1: Improving case airflow through the cards

2: Adjusting the fan profile of the top card

3: get a better cooling solution for the gpus

There will still be a gap for air,

I have a 750d with Max air flow possible

And top card still hits 84c

So I'm gona try it to see if it helps

If you can try to use the first and the last slot for sli. That way it will have enough room for fresh air.You can buy something like this and put it between so it will suck the hot air coming up from the bottom gpu. Also you can try to mold some plastic to redirect the flow and use some fans to help it, but that would take a lot of work

The last slot is only x4, so putting hed probably be hesitant about putting the gpu in there although it would improve the temps.

Putting a heatshield between the GPUs is just gonna increase your temps more, Just increasing the fan curve would be the easiest fix (or is it at 100% 83 °C?)

The difference is not that big and it'd rather have my gpu run cooler for a longer life span that have another 3-4 fps.

You have two cards that are open designs, they blow heat into the case, you need fans faced towards them from the front to bring temps down.
