Anyone else with this issue? (ASUS MemoPad 8 - me581c)

Hello tech people,

 

about a month ago I bought an ASUS MemoPad 8, specifically the 16gb Wi-Fi only me581c model.

There were no issues at first, but after updating to the most recent update (12.14.2.13-20150507) which upgrades it to 5.0.1 lolliop I've been having a constant problem.

I wrote to ASUS support about how my tablet could no longer see wireless networks beyond channel 10 on the 2.4GHz band. Their response was, that there were no faults in the software, so I should go get my tablet repaired. Since it's within warranty, I said why not? They changed the motherboard for a new one and reverted the tablet back to 4.4.2, where there were no issues once again.

Now I decided to try and upgrade it again for some added functionality in lollipop, but the issue is here again, no wifi networks beyond channel 10..

Anyone else having this issue?
