GTX 980 Reference or no

adamloveicecream

I have a gtx 980 reference in my pc right now. My pc idles around 35 Celsius in summer right now. Should I be more concerned with a better cooled gtx 980, or should I just go for looks and get another reference 980 to match the 980 I have installed right now. I am only using fans for cooling in my build, would heat be a major concern with 2 980 reference cards?

nVidia state that the safe temp for most their 9xx series cards is 92c under load, as long as your below that it's fine, although obviously the cooler the better

Okay, I am thinking of upgrading to a gtx 980ti today, would my i7-4790K be enough and not bottleneck it like linus sometimes mentions?
