Usb wifi adapter vs PCI wireless card

PCI wireless card $23

Which has has better connection to your modem and more stability so ping not spiking but stable. I'm doing gaming so I want lowest ping as possible. I hear the PCI wireless card is better.

Is getting 2 antennas for PCI wireless card good or bad? Is 1 antenna bad?

The fact that it's USB doens't hurt the system in terms of speed or ping time so long as your connection is below a couple hundred megs per sec. So in that sense, it doesn't matter. However, dual band is better and external and replaceable antennas are better yet. It's a solid reason to go for the PCI-E version. But still, unless you set up a 802.11ac system, it'll really only matter on the paper. 802.11n isn't great for gaming.

It's not PCI-e, it has the old PCI interface, so it depends on your motherboard. Some new motherboards do still have old PCI slots for legacy support, but not many so I'd check before buying.

I use both in different PCs, and the difference in minimal. Probably prefer the PCI card, just because it's one less thing to forget. Either one will work just fine though, there is no clear winner imo.

Assuming you just have the one graphics card in the top slot, your motherboard could use either PCI-e or PCI.
