D-14 FANS, airflow help

404-USER-NOT-FOUND-ERROR

Um. Red I think.

Nope I'm wrong, green

Also I'll be 100% sure, also, depends what way you mounted it. Is it in your case ATM. If so a picture would, help.

Well, it could depend which way the fans mount or which way the cooler is mounted if the fans can't be reversed.

If it is only one way, it's likely to be the red arrow, blowing the air towards the back of the case, which usually has an exhaust fan.

It should not fight other fans in the system.

I will try my luck with green, and then check it with my hand, I just hope I won't go wrong, because in my opinion green looks more likely, and when I loked one of linus videos I THINK he said that way

Which way is the fan facing that's in between the two heat sinks?

Also did you see my message about your fan setup ?

NOT in between my bad.

which way does the airflow go, red arrow or green arrow?

mine by default was the set up like the red arrow but you can remove the brackets and position the fans any way that you want to.  There are arrows on the side of the 140mm fan indicating the direction of airflow, I dont see an indicator on the 120mm.  I feel like red would work better with most airflow set ups but just make sure they blow in the same direction as your case's airflow to exhaust the air

Just orientate it the way you want.

as for the orientation of the fans, I would direct the airflow to where the case's exhaust port is.

these are aftermarket fans but I have them both blowing the same way, TO the back of the case.  If you can tell, one of the towers of the heatsync is farther away from center than the other (the 140mm fan is strapped to this tower by default)  it's supposed to make for better ram compatibility but mine just sits right over my Gskill as it is so I could install either way if I needed more room by the back fan.  Sorry if that is confusing

GTX 980 not OC/SC edition. Got it for 375$ from EVGA b-stock a couple months ago.  I just installed a EVGA hybrid kit on it and am really impressed

cool, I was considering the 980, but then I joined the red team with 390 (ran out of budged and wanted better performance per £) hope you don't hate me (lol, I just realized that the arrows on the fan diagram are red and green, LOL)

the 390/390x are good cards man, no hate here, I considered buying one but could not pass up the deal I found on the 980 and I can't say I'm disappointed.
