Best Bluetooth Speaker?

saxguy67

I am currently looking for a bluetooth speaker for my computer. I want something that is easy to move around, and something that can also connect to my phone to play music. Price doesn't really matter at this point.

Thanks!

I purchased a shower bluetooth speaker lately. It’s an Inateck speaker BP2101. Very thin with good looking. But the sound is loud. The appearance looks good with a silver box. The price was reasonable (less than 100$ as I recalled).

I have a Celia and Perah P3... I liked the sound much better than the mega boom, but it's not as rugged. Its a good "bring around the house" or "bring on a picnic" speaker but not a beach or camping speaker.

I have a 2019 macbook pro with 64gb of ram and my gaming pc has been in the closet since 2018

In terms of multifunction device I have had good experience with the Creative SoundBlaster Roar.

Its a bluetooth speaker, USB computer speaker, microSD MP3 Player, and has a built in battery and USB port so not only can it play music on the go like a boom box of sorts, it will also charge your phone or other electronics in your bag, and can get quite loud if you are using it outdoors. Tie two together for a surprisingly decent 2.0 stereo system.

In terms of smaller, simpler, and cheaper straight bluetooth speakers I have had good experiences with the Creative Woof 2, actually got the Woof mini-speaker free as part of a promo at CES when I bought my Roar 1.

If you are willing to spend the money, I'd recommend the JBL Charge with a price-point of around 170$. It's a pretty rugged thing and I have listened to a multitude of music genres on that thing which all sounded great. You hook up the speaker via BT or with a 3.5mm jack. The battery life is okay (roughly 10h) and you can also hook up and charge your devices as it can also function as a portable battery.

I use the Creative Sound Blaster Roar for exactly the same thing. Its small enough to carry around in my bag with my laptop but its also good quality, and sounds great. Many sources rate them highly like pricenfees and engadget. They're a tad expensive, but you said price wasn't an issue. Hope that helps.
