Mobo choice

So yesterday AGAIN AsRock let me down.

As i wanted to reinstall my sistem, i pluged in my usb drive and got in my 970 pro3 UEFI to change boot order. Then - black screen and no signs of life ...

 

So for now im stuck with AsRock N68-S3 UCC and Athlon II X2 250.

 

So i dont wana throw a big $ in mobo, as i saving for intel system ( hope to make my self a good present at my birth day)

 

So all i wana know is opinions about thees two boards ( i have FX 8120):

 

MSI 970A SLI krait edition ( for the color theem, price is so so over here)

GA-78LMT-USB3 (rev. 6.0) ( price, support for FX line, and VRM cooling and 4 DIMM slots)

 

Any info is apriciated :)

Krait edition of course, MSI never let's down in their krait line.

I read some bad stories about VRMs ... not the ones where some no-brain-"pro's" put in FX 9xxx series to burn out them with flames :D and i realy like the color theme, makes me thinking about new project :)

Good for you ... second time i had bad luck ... and mobo what i have now are asrock as well, and it have weard thing with RAM. I installed 4 GB DDR3, but bios and windows shows 8 :D but at POST screen it shows 4 ... dunno what is this thing, but atleast it works :D

Jeah, already seen hes video ... but i need some realtime user opinion ... as the all bad thing comes out when u actualy power it on and try to work with it :) so far from Jayz vid - its good as it looks

and i belive ur 970 gaming is runing good, is it???one thing what i wana know - what about fan control optins have 970 gaming in bios??? like speed curve or something???

Not messed with it yet I have just let it stay on default, also yes it runs fine and many say it can get a 4.5 OC on FX-8350.

Not messed with it yet I have just let it stay on default, also yes it runs fine and many say it can get a 4.5 OC on FX-8350.

I read some bad stories about VRMs ... not the ones where some no-brain-"pro's" put in FX 9xxx series to burn out them with flames :D and i realy like the color theme, makes me thinking about new project :)

Jeah ... thoes 220W are some burning force ... no surprise that AMD shiped them with water AIOs ... but even i as non-pro, know that if ya wana FX 9000 series CPU u need some serious mobo, not the mid-tier mobo :D
