One of those "builds" ?!

Go to solution Solved by bpw87,

Hi,

..I´m having this two "builds" to choose from.. which one would you recommend is better for everything!

1. CPU   -Q8300

    Mobo -Asus P5Q3

    RAM  -DDR2 4GB 800MHz

GPU  -X for now ( I´m looking at a GTX750-650-550 any advice on the gpu would be nice, somewhere around $100)

-------------------------------------

2. CPU   -G1840

    Mobo -ASRock H81M R2.0

    RAM  -DDR3 4GB 1333MHz

GPU  - I don´t have the extra $100 in this build,(beacouse i will buy it new) I would havge to use the in GPU for a while.

I´m using it for everyday use! (I´m sure it will play any game at 720 or 1080 with at least 30fps)

Thanks!

1st one will play more games once you get a GPU.

In the first Scrapyard Wars Linus used a earlier similar spec CPU and it wasn't bottle necked by Lukes 290.

The advantages of the second though is you have a lot more upgrade ability

second please.

Faster CPU, DDR3. I don't use this word often but you may bottleneck the 1'st one if you put a GPU on it...

Isn't the G1840 1155?

If you hunt around for a second hand GPU you should look at a 670 you can get them on ebay for under $100
