Don't like the ASUS design on it, also I don't trust them on their Strix models anymore, their 980/970 strix models had a lot of problems. Also with the classifieds you should expect higher overclocks, even from the ASUS one.

Incorrect, a lot of people have been having issues getting past 1500mhz on the Classifieds, they are meant to be extreme water cooling or LN2 cooled for overclocking

i would say EVGA because asus try too much to stand out wiith the design of the cooler. they both give around same amount of cooling and even performance. EVGA just make their cards look sooooo clean and simple.

I don't understand why you would think that, is it because they just need so much power that heat becomes an issue?

I don't think , I know. Read the threads in EVGA and Overclock.net  Maxwell doesn't respond to voltage increases until it drops below 20c if you wanna push the core clock speeds.

Evga. Hands down every time. The cooler is better. They usually get better overclock as well.
