Nvidia Shield Portable 5.1 Update

So I woke up this morning and I seen that the Portable had Lollipop 5.1 update. Thinking about taking the update but not sure if I should or not. Has anyone else took it yet??

Here is what the update does

Android 5.1

Upgrade to the latest Lollipop OS
Fixes a bug that does not allow books to be read in the Google Play Books app
Permanently removes Sonic 4, Episode II, Expendable: Rearmed, and Android Browser
Adds support for Chromecast
Enables SHIELD portable as a source device for Chromecast or any Google Cast Ready device connected to your TV
Miracast is no longer supported
Updates Twitch app with latest version

Yeah I haven't downloaded it yet, just let it sit since I don't want to get rid of Miracast since I use that on the Amazon Fire stick to display it on my tv.

I just did and the OTA update bricked it

 

but I have it all installed now all seems fine. only downside is the shield button opens google voice instead of the shield hub

How is battery life and other things for it. want a full detailed reports here lol. But I still dont know yet, kinda want to see what everyone else is how how much better it was than android 4

Not sure ive literally tried it for 5 minutes, it seems EXACTLY the same as before but with a more attractive look and now has chromecast

 

Its not like its a new device or anything, seems to run a little smoother

Yeah I probably wont upgrade then. Doesn't seem that great for me to use to get rid of Miracast but still happy Nvidia is still supporting the device and hope they continue too do so.
