Pfsense with Asus pci-e wifi card?

I recently setup a pfsense box with some old lga775 gear I had laying around, since I was tired of having a crappy router. Anyway, I can't seem to get my Asus pci-e ac wireless card to be recognized by the pfsense software. (I watched the teksyndicate video on setting it up) it looked like it should have automatically been recognized when I was setting up the wan/lan/optional connections, but it was never recognized. Anyone have any ideas?
