Is Battlefield 3 still pretty active?

I was thinking about buying it to check it out.

 

The new patches on BF4 are crazy and has all the old timers whining to the point I can't stand it.lol...

It's like they're building Star Wars Battlefront by using BF4 as the beta. All bullets are tracers and it looks like a laser fight.lol...

 

Curious about BF3...Never played it before.

Yep, still pretty alive on the most popular maps. You can play anything you want if its a map from the stock game and stock game mode. Other things can also be found, especially close quarters so no problems with player base.

 

And imo its the best bf game ever so I think its well worth its price

 

edit: its like 5$ on g2a...

Awhile back they gave it out free man should have jumped on that.

Curious about BF3...Never played it before.

It is quite active but you wont be able to play all maps, mainly just Noshahr canals, Metro, Damavand Peak. With BF4 netcode fix it feels stable as ever.
