What DSLR should I get as an entry level photographer?

I only have a $500-600 budget, and would really like to get into photography and video shooting. What camera should I get, and please specify a few lenses to go along with it.

Would you be doing more videography or photography?

What type of stuff would you be shooting?

What country do you live in?

I started with a d40...more or less an older version of the d3200 (in that they are aiming for the same sorta buyer) id check it out the d3200 if you have no/extremely limited knowledge on photography.
You can still get great results once you learn what you are doing so dont get discouraged that its a "lower end" product

This was shot on my old d40 just last year.

What about a D3300 or a T3i? Also, what lenses should I get, since I'm so new to this.

stick with the kit lens and get at least one prime lens 75mm+ if you're going to be portraiture.
