Dell wireless 5530 driver incompatibility with e6220

Hello

 

I have a dell latitude e6220 as my daily driver (portable) and I could really use mobile broadband as the internet at school never works properly. I have bonus mobile data with my home broadband bundle and would like to use it at school.

 

I had an old 5530 wireless card out of an old dell I had but it turns out dell makes it so you can only install the driver on compatible models. I would prefer to just use the card I already have than to buy another one.

 

I found this article about how to modify the installer from dell to allow you to install it but I cant seem to get it to work (I don't have the skill) 

Could someone possibly add the e6220 to the installer and repackage it to work.
