Having Problems with Adaptive Voltage settings not doing anything on ASUS Mobo?[Simple Solution][Step by Step Guide]

Setting Voltage mode to Adaptive after dialing in your overclock in Manual(Continues from 9:50 in Linus's

Intel Devil's Canyon & Pentium G3258 Anniversary Edition Overclocking Guide

)

============================================================

Step 1: Enter "Advanced Mode" in your BIOS(F7)

Step 2: Go to "Ai Tweaker" tab

Step 3: scroll down till you see CPU Core Voltage(should be set to manual before this step with your dialed in voltage e.g. 1.255v in my case)

Step 4: Change "CPU Core Voltage" from "Manual Mode" to "Adaptive Mode"

Step 5: set "Offset Mode Sign" to "+"

Step 6: set "CPU Core Voltage Offset" to "0.001"

Step 7: set "Additional Turbo Mode CPU Core Voltage" to what ever your manual voltage was minus 0.001, in my case it was 1.255v, so I set it to 1.254 and hit enter.

Step 8: Scroll up till you see "EPU Power Saving Mode" and MAKE SURE it is set to "disabled" or none of the settings for adaptive mode will make a difference in the load voltage of your cpu. for me, despite any value I put in for "Additional Turbo Mode CPU Core Voltage" or "CPU Core Voltage Offset" my load voltage would always end up being 1.210v, This agrivated me for hours because nothing I did made a difference.

My System:

Asus Z97 Pro (WIFI AC) BIOS Version: 2205(This fix should work for anyone with an updated ASUS BIOS)

I7-4790K

Energy can not be created nor destroyed, just converted to a different Type of energy.
