Building Custom Gaming PC

mexa178
Go to solution Solved by Watsyurdeal,

Get a 4690k instead and go with a gtx 970, you'll get a lot better performance for gaming. The i7 really doesn't do you any good, especially since the i5 can be overclocked easily to suit your needs.

If it's over your budget you could do a R290....but it'll run hot so be warned.

Hi all im new to this custom gaming pc. I would like to know if all components are compatible and price/quality is good. (sorry for bad english)

Why get a high end CPU and a low end Graphics card? You should balance that a bit.

Intel Core i7 7770K | 32 GB's Ram 3000MHz | GTX 1080 Ti | 250GB SSD | 3TB 7400 RPM | Sound Blaster Z | ASUS ROG MG278Q | Razer Blackwidow Chroma | Final Mouse 2015 | Blue Yeti | Seinheiser HD 600's | Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro | Aune T1 MK2

Why would you get that CPU?

An i5 performs better in GTA5

Yeah, what @Fluffinator said.

Go for an i5 4690K instead of the 4790K and get a GTX 970 or R9 290X instead of the gTX 960.

As others have said, save money on the I7 and get an I5. Spend the savings on a better GPU.

so i should get a

Gigabyte GTX970 WindForce OC 4GB GDDR5 PCI-E cause i heard it had a problem with 3.5gb or something

It is still amazing, best price/performance card. (960 has only 2GB ;) )

I have choosen that card because it was the cheapest one from good brand, get any good brand 970 that is cheap where you live, can you post link to store or price comparison site form your country?

3.5 GB will not be an issue for GTA V.

4690k + gtx 970 is more than enough for 1080p.

However, you might want to look in an aftermarket CPU cooler, probably something on air and maybe 16 GB Ram.

Just my idea...

Edit: and go for a better brand PSU. Personally, I always go for Seasonic

No game will use more than 8GB in foreseeable future.

750W is overkill for 970, get a good brand 550-650W PSU (unless you plan to SLI, than get good brand 750W)

The 3.5 GB thing is blown out of proportion because of everyone who bought it got really buthurt over it it's still a great card another suggestion I would have is maybe look at a R9 290X with a good non reference cooler I have the gigabyte R9 290X windforce and the thing is a charm at 1080p or 1440p.

Get a 4690k instead and go with a gtx 970, you'll get a lot better performance for gaming. The i7 really doesn't do you any good, especially since the i5 can be overclocked easily to suit your needs.

If it's over your budget you could do a R290....but it'll run hot so be warned.

As long as it meets the needs of your build it should be fine, Silverstone, corsair, evga, seasonic are all good.

Corsair is a good brand but even if it is good brand the cheapest PSUs from them are not very good, get AT LEAST modular CX

~1000€ budget

Then you should definitely drop the CPU to a 4690k, as others have said, and go with a GTX 970. Also, I'm not sure if you need a 750 watt power supply for this build. It seems a bit overkill.
