Need Help Upgrading!

Go to solution Solved by EMENCII,

What Would You Prefer As A Nice Upgrade? Not As Significantly Pricey, But Would Be Not As Low-End?

Some Intel core i5 and h81 mobo, or if you want to stick to AMD you can pick a FX cpu and AM3+ mobo... Though the graphic power would be less than GPU+APU... I'd buy in a kinda short period of time also a 750/750Ti/R9 270, if you can...

So I Need Help Upgrading. I FINALLY Figured Out That Dual-Core Isnt The Best.

^^^ So Thats What I Might Go To Next. Idk Yet Only Cos This IS My First Build.

But Im Running...

CPU: AMD A4-6300 3.7Ghz Dual Core

Thats The Only Thing Thats Changed Compared To The List.

BTW!

I Am a Noob To This, So I Dont Know How To OC Yet, Or All That Crossfire Stuff I Keep Seeing.

I Dont Under Stand How To Do All Of That Yet...

If Somebody Could Easily Help On Whats A Good Next Step Upgrade For That Part(Or Parts)

Let Me Know. Ill Be Very Helpful.

@tgcarlo13

If you want to change only the CPU that's the best you can choose, without changing the motherboard, and seen your gpu you really should set the APU and GPU to work together, it will be a huge help

rig: i7 4770k @4.1Ghz (delidded), Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600Mhz, ROG Maximus VI Hero, Noctua NH-D14, EVGA GTX980SC, Samsung 850 EVO 500GB, Corsair SF600, self-built wooden Case, CoolerMaster QuickFire TK, Logitech G502, Blue Yeti, BenQ GW2760HS

First off, welcome to the forums ;)

Next, let me get this straight... You already have all of those parts and you will just be getting the CPU, or you are getting it all?

That is an APU, (a mixture of a CPU and GPU so I would not get that and I GPU)

If you are building that, I would get less ram and get the R7 260X instead.  I would also get a FM3+ MoBo and CPU instead.

If you are just getting the CPU I would get the AMD A10-780

Well, I Want To Upgrade Even If I Have To Change The Mobo. But, Is That Having Something TO Do In The Settings To fix the APU and GPU?

So All Of The PArts On My PCPartPicker, I Have Except The CPU which is the A10. I Have an A4.

If you want to go more high-end, it will cost you more than picking that CPU alone... Depends on your budget...

As for the APU/GPU you need to go in the graphics control panel, i dont know anything else though...
