Random fps drops

Ps1d3r

Hi there

About 1 month ago i started having random fps drops on CS GO for no apparent reason, from a normal 150/170 goes to 30/40/50 for a few seconds and goes back to normal.
I didn´t change any settings before this happened (on cs go or on the gfx)
I've searched for solutions online, tried a lot of things with no results.
I had the previous gfx driver version, but i already updated, and the problem is still there.

Today i did a 15 minute stress test with FurMark and with CPUID HWMonitor open to log the results,  but I'm no expert, and can't really tell if the results are acceptable.

I did a DPC latency test, everything was fine.

My PC specs:

Cooler Master Elite Power 500W
Asus B75M-PLUS
Msi Geforce GTX650 Over Clock Edition 2GB GDDR5
Kingston DDR3 HyperX FURY Black 4GBx2 1600MHz
Intel Core i3 - 3240 3.4GHz
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 64MB SATAIII
Benq LED GL2460HM FullHD 2ms (24") 1920x1080

Windows 7 Home Premium X64

I have 2x 120 fan on the side of the PC case which i only activate when gaming (i installed 2 on/off switches on the front), i did not activate them for the stress test, and a 120 fan on front which is always active.

It's not that cold, it's Spring here...

I guess my PC case is well ventilated.

You mean impressive in a good way?

well... your furmark log looks like this: 25°c (start) -slow rise- 60°c -sudden drop- 25°c until the end of the log.

it makes me thing your system is actually being throttled back by something, somewhere, making it unable to perform well.

EDIT: in the log the spots where its 25°c show a load of 0...
