What's your budget and where do you live?

There's lots of interesting options - Dell's P2715Q and Asus PB279Q both look excellent at 27", as does the BenQ BL3201PT at 32". There's also some interesting larger options, LG's 42UB820V is a 42" 4k IPS TV cheaper than any option I've already mentioned and has HDMI 2.0, so you could run it at 4k 60hz with your future 980. Furthermore, there's the Philips BDM4065UC, which is a 40" monitor with a VA panel and is very popular in the UK at least, so much so it's more expensive now than when it came out, whereas other monitors seem to steadily drop in price.

I have the Acer XB280HK 4K TN gsync panel and it works as advertised. No tearing or stutters under 60fps. Colors are good too. After calibration it does 97% sRGB. Viewing angles are better than most TN panels but isn't as good as a nice IPS panel.

CPU: Intel i7 4770k 4.3ghz MOBO: Asus Z87 Sabertooth RAM: 2x8GB RipJaws 1866mhz GPU: 2x GTX780ti SLI 1.2ghz SSD: 960GB 2x Intel 730 RAID0 CASE: Fractal Design Define S COOLING: Custom EK watercooling loop

Think you meant the P2715Q? The U2715H is 1440p.

1. Dont call someone blind if they make a mistake, you have made more dumb mistakes in the past

2. Anything "ROG" is overpriced
