Gigabyte G1.Sniper 5 & 5'th gen Haswell refresh I5 4690k and overall quality? Is it any good(mobo)?

I need to know if the Gigabyte G1.Sniper 5( http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4487#ov)  and the I5 4690k works together. Ive read that the z87 chipset is for 4 gen processors but the cpu should be compatiblith a bios update

 

Also the reason im looking for the gigabyte, is that its on huge sale so it would be cheaper than most z97

 

And also:  If anyone has experiences with this mobo please tell and is it a good motherboard? and would you recommend it.

As far as i can see  it has recieved alot of rewards and good reviews, is it really not worth it for a good price. And have you experienced it yourself?

if experienced the z97x-soc the g1 assassin and a x58 one I can't remember of the top of my head from gb
