Static IPv6 Address

Soooo I need a custom IPv6 address on my windows 7 machine. So that my router doesnt change it everytime I reset my PC.

Anyone know how to do it?

Open Network and Sharing Center

Change Adapter Settings

Right Click and go to Properties

Double click Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)

Click Use the following IPv6 address:

 

Put in whatever you want it to be, leave your DNS settings on automatic.
