ASUS SABERTOOTH Z97 CPU volt issue.

Overclocking my cpu in the BIOS. I change the voltage to manual set it at 1.25, get to 4.9 running fine. Set the multiplayer to X50 and get a BSOD on boot, go back into BIOS to up the volts to 1.27+. So I type it in and when I hit enter it just switchs my numbers back to 1.25. It says in the BIOS that max is 1.9, so why does it keep switching back to 1.25?

This is the Mark1 edition with updated BIOS.

I don't advise you overclock it to much...

just cause you can do something...doesn't mean you should
