How to stop monitor from shaking during normal use?

failblox
Go to solution Solved by iPhoenix,

It's shaking because your desk is not heavy/rigid enough to absorb the force from you typing.  You need a better desk.  Even if you got a VESA arm it would still shake.

Understand that it's just physics. Force from your fingers is translating into the desk.. then being transferred to the monitor.  If your desk stays still, the monitor would have no reason to move.

This isn't that big of a deal, but it's been annoying me a bit lately. My desk is pretty big and it's on carpet, so it shakes pretty easily. My monitor is a pretty big monitor as well, a 27" LG 27MP75. Here's a photo of one, and as you can see - the entire 27" panel along with its speakers and whatnot is supported by a piece of plastic. While I love this monitor and its looks, I'm just wondering if anyone has any tips for reducing the amount my display shakes. It's shaking just typing this and it's pretty distracting at times.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance :)

I actually couldn't underclock my 5 year old GPU to make it as slow as a next-gen console.

I'm using an ikea desk actually but it's a really long one. I think it's a little more than 2 meters in length so that probably makes it a lot more prone to vibrations (I type around the middle). And like iPhoenix said, I think it's that my desk isn't good enough.
