Probably I need to change my CX750M

acolombo

Every video card I change makes a huge coil whine noise. I changed two R9 270 and now I'm using an R9 280...

Do you think I have to change my CX750M?

What should I buy now?

That shouldn't be doing that.

Is the whine in the PSU or the cards?

If the whine's coming from the PSU, turn off your computer right now and get it out of your PC.

If it's the GPU, you're really unlucky I guess to get two in a row with coil whine.

My build: tis be ordered

3 in a row, and btw I'm sure the whine is coming from the card...

I changed two Sapphire R9 270X and a VTX3D R9 280 and all of them suffered a huge coil whine, so a lot of people told me the PSU could be the cause
