[Guide] A beginners guide to computer maintenance

For me, every few months, maintenance is:

-Run adwcleaner, malwarebytes, patchmypc, and ccleaner

-Organize files and delete unwanted programs(Check downloads folder, most likely to be clogged)

-Open PC, use compressed air on dusty area's

 

IF temps are inexplicable higher, and not just because of the weather or cooling:

-Reapply CPU thermal paste

-Re-position heatsink if it's in a bad spot

-Re-position fans if they're in a bad spot

-Crank up the fan speeds in the BIOS
