vrm cooling

is vrm cooling good if i want to push the limits of overclocking my cpu (i will take i7 4770k worh maximus vii hero). i have custom loop with 360mm radiatior.

You can push your CPU very far with that board. The VRM is unaffected by your CPU cooler(for the most part).

I think for over clocking runs you will be fine but make sure the heatsinks have good airflow.

On older/extreme platforms it'll matter, but on Haswell much of the power delivery are integrated on to the CPU.

 

So that's a negatory.
