You can push your CPU very far with that board. The VRM is unaffected by your CPU cooler(for the most part).

On older/extreme platforms it'll matter, but on Haswell much of the power delivery are integrated on to the CPU.

 

So that's a negatory.

Cooling: D5 + X-RES 140CSQ, Supreme HF Cu, EK-FC7970/7990, 10xSP120 QE, RX240 + RX360
