Unless you don't have a lot of condensation without the compter, you will be fine

Molex to SATA, lose all your data

you sure, because thats who my last PSU AND GPU went out i had my case next to a vent.

I wouldn't do it.

my pc has been on the window for 2 1/2 years and it still works ok.

id be more concerned about it tipping over
