My pc is just too fast

SimpleG
Go to solution Solved by Zambonie,

Cant you go into PC settings, reboot into windows UEFI, and then from there, under trouble shooting there is a boot to BIOS option?

Works on my laptop and my brothers comp. on windows 8.1 ofc tho

edit, this:

only for windows 8 tho

Finnaly got my Hyper 212 Evo, wanted to OC my CPU but I just can't get into BIOS - del doesn't work and neither does F10. MOBO MSI A55M E33. It shows motherboard screen or post screen, how you call it, 2 secs and windows has loaded. Any Ideas?

BTW, how accurate is HWMonitor, I had a 50% more thermal paste then a pea sized, reapplied it, same temps at idle 44 celcius and in load - 56.

You can hold shift as you hit restart in windows, and it'll load into bios.. Turn off fast boot and you will be able to hit del.

The projects never end in my line of work.

Is there a boot to bios utility because my asus motherboard has a program called boot to bios and when you click it it restarts the system and enters the bios

Try unplugging the keyboard?  Might throw an error so you can plug it in and enter setup.  Ugly solution but hey, if it works

I don't have an Asus motherboard

You can hold shift as you hit restart in windows, and it'll load into bios.. Turn off fast boot and you will be able to hit del.

Try'd it didn't work, altough I'll try again

Windows... you hold shift as you click on restart until the screen goes blank. Then troubleshooting>UEFI

Some Googling showed me DEL was the most popular key for MSI boards.

Try like spamming it hard?

I don't have an Asus motherboard

I was just saying because MSI might have made a utility that does the same as the asus utility

I've the z97 krait mobo from msi, it's got fast boot and boot to bios.  Don't know if it can be used on all their boards, though
