How to run 3 qnix qx2710 from single 970 at 120hz+?

Ephixxa

All I hear are great things about the monitor.

I have an MSI GTX 970 and I'm looking to buy three 27 inch IPS or PLS monitors (Glossy)

These monitors can only use Dual Link DVIs apparently. I wanted to know if it would work with an active display port to DVI adapter, or maybe a display port extender to get 3 display ports then just convert those.

All I know is that HDMI wont cut it for me while running 3 of these monitors.

-I'm aware that during gaming it'd be hard to push out 120hz on three monitors.

So, any positive input for a solution on how to get this to run on a single card at that speed, or if I can even get them all to run at all?

Or, as a second question.

Are there any GLOSSY 1080p 27" IPS/PLS monitors that look extremely nice with a downscaled resolution of 1440p?

If so, I wouldn't mind doing that if I can run 3 of those instead.

3 x 1440p is a fair bit harder to run than 4k. So. That's not happening on a single card unless you go for low graphics settings. Then what's the point?

You can get DP to DVI cables can't you?

What? Nvidia graphics cards have a feature called DSR. Was asking if there are monitors that show good results with that feature.

Also, the original question was if the monitor was able to be used through a DP to DVI adapter so then I could use 3 of these monitors.

I'm aware of the limitations of the card. I just want to know if the option is there to run three high refresh rate monitors off of a single 970.

It's sort of a toss-up. In theory a DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI converter should do it, but these cheap Korean monitors have sometimes been known to not work with anything but pure Dual-Link DVI, not even with active adapters when it should work by all rights. It's also worth noting that 1440p 120Hz requires bandwidth well outside of DVI spec and can only be done with basically an overclocked DVI output. A card like the 970 will do that without a problem, but I'm really skeptical about an adapter being able to. I'd say, it's unlikely this would work.
