Any risks to hardware my other hardware?

CM7

Hi would there be any risk to my other hardware if I try and plug in a failed hard drive into my computer to get the data off. I don't really know if they are failed and would like to test them. Both came from two different computers with a fried motherboards. Thanks for the help  ^_^

Hey CM7,

There shouldn't be any problem between the different storage drives. As long as you are careful not to transfer any potential errors and plug/unplug the drives while the system is shut down, you should be safe. :)
