I have a Intel core i7 4790 and i would like to under-clock it and bios does not work

(mainly for a test but don't ask why)

 

Please help

if your mobo supports voltage changing, you can use the BLCK method since

the multiplier is locked.

What motherboard is it?? you mean it doesn't work as in you cannot even get into the bios? Or you are underclocking it but it wont apply your changes?

it is underclocking but it wont apply my changes the motherboard is msi z 87 g45 gaming 3
