Sorry for the long title, especially to mobile users who wouldn't see the price of $99.99.

 

Anyway this is a 2.5" dual drive that I believe even Linus has reviewed. This is a decent drive for a laptop user who wants the speed of a SSD but storage of a HDD without spending an arm and a leg. $100 seems pretty legit for this combo. Use the code ESCAKNV24 to get the $30 off.

Just make sure that your laptop can handle the 9/9.5mm form factor. But for the price you certainly get your money's worth.

that's a dual drive people. not a sshd. there are 2 separate drives in there.

 

that's about 50$ for the hdd and $60 for the ssd normal price separate. That a great deal.

That's a pretty good price for even a budget ITX build or something.

Shame it has reliability issues

It is important to note that this is not an SSHD. It is two separate drives in one enclosure and will show up in you computer as two separate drives, and you have to install special software that comes with it to access the HDD portion. I can also confirm that it does have reliability issues. I bought one back in November and the HDD drive was trash. If you buy one, make sure that you benchmark both drives right away before taking the time to install programs/transfer files.
