PC GAMING just for League of Legends

I want to buy a computer with a i5 intel. I want to be able to maybe stream/record and play LoL with fps at least over 100. Maybe while I'm playing I want to be able to have a few tabs open as well without lagging going under 60 fps. Nothing too expensive and not some cheap toaster xD. Just here to listen to suggestions. Here is one PC that I found that I think is good, ( I don't know much about computers ).

If your wanting to stream youll want an i7 at minimum. And with how expensive those things are with the i7 you would be better off building your own you could get more for about the same cost.

Yah you can def do better then that pc for the money. Where do you live? . Places like NCIX offer a $50 build option so you can choose all your parts and have them build it for you.

Here is an i7-4790k build with an R9 290 graphics card that has plenty of headroom figured in for an extra video card if you decided to go crossfire and has windows figured into the build the only thing thats missing is a cpu cooler which isnt needed unless you decided you wanted to overclock. And with rebates it comes out to the same cost as the i7 version of that system you linked which you would NEED if you wanted to do streaming. If you wanted to make it cheaper you could always opt for a cheaper case and maybe remove the SSD.

Motherboard: MSI Z97S SLI Plus ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($90.50 @ Newegg)
Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon R9 290 4GB WINDFORCE Video Card  ($234.99 @ NCIX US)
Case: NZXT S340 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case  ($65.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 - 64-bit (OEM) (64-bit)  ($90.26 @ OutletPC)
Total: $1003.55
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

I will also add in the i7 version of that system you linked has a 2.00ghz locked i7 and this one has the 4.0ghz unlocked i7 which in itself is already a massive performance gain.

You only need an i7 to stream if the games you're playing are intensive to run, LoL is not intensive to run so an i5 will do fine.

Well i stand corrected then but either way the system even with an i5 instead of an i7 is still the same price and has a lot more performance than the pre-built he linked.

Yea though there's no reason to get the SLI plus version of that board as you put a 290 in the system, put the Asrock Z97 Pro 3 or Anniversary instead http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-z97pro3 http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-z97anniversary

Yea he could go with that one i've just heard a lot of bad things about ASROCK boards how they have a lot of issues of dying fast so i went with the MSI board since it was only $5 more. In my opinion reliability is worth $5.

That was Asrock back in the day, their boards are perfectly fine now. I've got two of their cheapest boards and they have run flawlessly every since I bought them.

Thanks for all the replies. I probably won't stream but record instead. I'm not sure if recording uses more resources than streaming or not

if you stream you will probably need hyper-threading plus a strong GPU so I made a less-than-1000$ rig with a Xeon E3 and GTX970

Just don't get the Kingston SSDNow V300 that @Rodneyg87 put in the build. Might look like a good deal but the write speeds are on the same level as some faster HDDs. Not. Worth.

Better get a Crucial MX100, Samsung 840 Evo, Kingston HyperX 3K. This looks like a better deal than the V300 -> http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-internal-hard-drive-cssdn120gbgtxbbk (~$55 from NCIX).

Can someone explain why you'd need an i7? I can stream CS:GO on a 600Ti, 8 RAM and a relatively bad i5 with only small lag spikes. Why not just a decent i5?

Or got the AMD route with the FX8350. Add as much to the total price as you want for a case you like.

LOL at anyone suggesting a big high end graphics card.

a 7870 displaying in my Eyefinity will play lol at over 150+ FPS at maxed out settings.

I do suggest an i7, but LOL at the graphics card suggestions.

A LoL box that streams wont need more than a 7870/R9 270/GTX 760 for 1080P, and you wont need more than 8gigs of ram.
