How to move an OS from a HDD to an SSD

So, as the title says,

 

I originally built my PC last year and put the OS on my 1TB HDD. Now i'd like to put an SSD in my system for quicker usage, and i'm stuck on how to move only my OS to the SSD without moving all my games and files to it too?

The optimal way to do about it would to just be reinstalling Windows directly to the drive. Otherwise, you can clone it using something like Samsung's Data Migration tool, or Acronis True Image.

You can't move just the OS afaik

 

Honestly a reinstall would be good anyways, so you don't have to go through stuff like TRIM and OS optimization

Just backup your important crap and just reinstall, a fresh OS on a SSD is

Will i still be able to use my HDD for non-windows stuff without altering anything on there, just changing boot order in BIOS to SSD first?

When you have Windows on the SSD you go into cmd and use diskpart and delete all the partitions then format it.
