How to Pin, Unpin an App on Windows 10 Start Menu

 How to Pin an App to the Start Screen or to the Taskbar in Windows 10

• Tap on the Start Menu icon.
• Select All Apps.
• Scroll up and down and take a look of your desired app. (Suppose I want to Pin Weather app to the Start Screen).

• Right click on the desired app. (I had right clicked on the Weather app).
• You can see four options of which two of them will enable you to pin the selected app to the Start Screen or to the Taskbar.
• Select the appropriate option. (I am selecting Pin to Start Screen option).
• If you click on Pin to Start Screen then immediately you can see the app pinned to the Start Screen. (Weather app has immediately arrived on my Start Screen).

• And if you click on Pin to Taskbar then it will be pinned to the Taskbar at the very moment.

How to Unpin an App from the Start Screen or Taskbar in Windows 10

• Repeat the same procedure as explained above till you select the desired app.
• Once you looked for your app right click on it. (I want to unpin the News app. So I have right clicked on it.)
• Now choose the option Unpin from Start. (I have also selected Unpin from Start option).

• This will remove the app from the Start Screen. (News app is now removed from my Start Screen)
• If your app is pinned in the taskbar and you want to unpin it then simply select Unpin from Taskbar option when you right click the app on the Start Menu.
